THE FAMILY
Since purchasing this property in 2008, our family has shared this space with friends, family, and colleagues over the years seeing numerous weddings, retreats, reunions, dinner parties, and fishing trips along the Colorado. More and more couples asked us about hosting their weddings at Shiraz Garden from Austin, Houston, and beyond. What an honor to be considered as the backdrop to someone’s wedding day. We are excited to open as an official event space for private events to share the magic of this property and be part of these meaningful days.
THE NAME
The name Shiraz Garden is a tribute to the beautiful city of Shiraz where our father was born. Shiraz is a city known for its poetry, literature, gardens, and wine. We feel our space is a little piece of that beauty right here in Texas.

You will see many faces at Shiraz Garden and we have an entire team dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and structures on our property. Some of the people you will see most often:
KALLI
With almost a decade in the wedding business, Kalli Doubleday is our wedding pro and the Director of Shiraz Garden. She is here to guide our couples through the booking process and is a continued resource at every step.
Kalli also has Ph.D. in the social sciences from UT (earned while building another wedding venue/business) and has an eye for detail! As a past educator, Kalli prides herself on providing our couples with extensive tools and resources to make their planning process easy.

NASEEM
The master interior designer & artful oversight , Naseem designs our spaces to be cozy luxury. She also curates our gift baskets available for Bridal Party and beyond. When it comes to the details Naseem is at the wheel.
RICKY
If it grows Ricky, our top gardener and horticulturist, is behind the scenes keeping it happy. With a 200 acre property he keeps busy. You may also see him on event days as the designated Shiraz Garden Representative.

Hi, I'm Brittani; I have been in the wedding industry for 14 years. I'm very passionate about planning weddings/events. I graduated from planning school in 2010 and haven't stopped! I started working at Shiraz in 2021 as an onsite manager, and after several years at Shiraz and as a planner, I became the lead In-House Coordinator. I've helped over 15 Shiraz couples celebrate their marriage as their IHC!
I love working at Shiraz; it's a beautiful and peaceful environment. I have been married to my husband for 11 years, and we have 2 sons and 2 fur babies. When I'm not coordinating, I love to bake and hang out with my family.

Hello! I’m Jordan, and I'm creative at heart with a love for organization. I have been a venue manager, marketing, and planner in the wedding industry for many years. My focus is planning, being part of wedding days, keeping up the joy, and solving problems, which is where I thrive. I live in La Grange with my husband and love Hill Country weddings.

Hello all! My name is Lindsay. I am a licensed cosmologist from Colorado. Moved to Bastrop in 2018. I enjoy hiking, gardening, and being a momma.
I started at Shiraz Garden in February 2022, and I adore weddings! Everything about them! There is never one that is the same. My favorite part of the job is taking care of the bride on her special day. It’s pure magic.

Hello! I joined the Shiraz Team in September 2023 and quickly fell in love. It is a joy & honor to witness the beauty of a couple getting to celebrate their love alongside their closest family & friends. I always look forward to seeing the true celebration on the dance floor at the end of the night! I am currently studying Acting at Texas State University:) eat em up cats!

I’m Terry Garza, your hustling hospitality specialist. I joined the Shiraz Team November 2023. I’ve been in the industry full-time for two years and currently work with 10+ amazing companies. After spending 12 years in banking and 4 years in admin, I needed a change and have loved the events industry! I love getting the opportunity to make every guest's experience something to remember by providing them with top-tier service. Not only am I grateful for this ability to serve others, but I get to do it with my friends every shift, have incredible experiences, make money, and have a ton of fun. Sometimes I forget it's even work.
